The Happy Toyz Truck used in the movie. I understand the goblin head was salvaged. Why didn't someone take the truck to... That's such a waste.

Hello.... hope I can shed some light on this question.
When I went to Wilmington, NC to pic up the Green Goblin Head... the guy had already taken it off of the truck. He told me that he knew the guy that owned the junk jard across the road from his house which is where the truck was taken to after the movie. He got permission to get the head so he cut it off of the truck (still has some of the truck hood mounted to it). He didnt want or have room for the truck... all he wanted was the head. I asked what happen to the truck and he said it was crushed to be recycled. WHAT A WASTE!! I would have loved to brought the whole truck home with me!

Well the truck and trailer were blown up, so there would be no use of rebuilding it unless you had billions of dollars in your pocket to rebuild it. Think about it, the tractor itself you would have to redo EVERYTHING from front to back and from the ground up. The trailer also, you would have to replace and redo everything. The cost to rebuild and redo everything for a burned tractor trailer would be over a billion dollars. From airbrake lines to the brakes themselves, to new wheels to new axles, from a new diesel motor to new wires for the dash panel, lights and everything else. It would be a huge amount of time to rebuild and huge amount of money to be spent which is why burned vehicles get crushed 90% of the time.
